Measurement Reference

How the foot is measured

Foot Length (cm) Longest point — from the tip of the big toe to the back of the heel. This is the measurement used in the size chart.

Sole Width (cm) Widest point of the forefoot. Our last is built for a standard D-width fit.

How to find your size

Measure your foot at home

Place foot on paper

Stand barefoot on a flat sheet of paper. Keep your weight evenly distributed — the foot spreads slightly under load, which gives a more accurate measurement.

Mark both ends

With a pencil, mark the furthest point of your longest toe and the rearmost point of your heel. Keep the pencil vertical against the foot for accuracy.

Measure in centimeters

Measure the straight distance between the two marks. Use a ruler, not a tape measure, to avoid any curve in the measurement.

Find your size

Match your measurement to the Foot Length column in the chart above. The corresponding US size is your Lignarolo size.

Our Sorrento High Top Sneakers with a minimalis silhouette is handmade from Italian Nubuck leather with rubber cup-sole, and waxed cotton laces.The solid construction of the Sorrento High Top are on par with high-end brands. Made exclusively “skin to box” in our factory in Bogota, this is a truly artisanal shoe and unique to Lignarolo.

The results are last with individual character, perfect for our first collection. A Classic Italian round toe that flows effortlessly through the joint and into the waist and heel section. Last 657 will invariably become a staple of the Collections of Lignarolo in years to come.

Blake Stitch Method

Stitched soles are the mark of quality footwear. With the Blake method, a row of stitching attaches the upper, insole, midsole and outsole. This results in a sturdy yet extremely comfortable shoe, plus it's easy to resole.

Materials

This product is made from full-grain calfskin leather sourced from a Gold-Rated tannery based in Italy, certified by the Leather Working Group, a Gold rating means LWG has identified environmental best practices in the leather manufacturing and provided guidelines for continuous improvement and a strong commitment to mitigating its environmental impact.

Crafted by skilled hands

The manufacture of high quality Blake Stitched shoes remains very labor-intensive, requiring a highly skilled workforce to carry out more than 200 separate operations during an 8 week period. This method, originated by hand-makers centuries ago, gives the shoes an exceptional degree of strength, durability and comfort in wear.

Handcrafted in Colombia

Lignarolo has been manufacturing shoes in Bogotá, Colombia since 1946 and although the production process has evolved since the early days of shoemaking, much of the factory looks just as it did when it was first built.
